Workshop Topics

Understand awareness-assessment-action-aftercare in an emergency situation. This technique is used to comfort, restore breathing, and stop the bleeding.
Treating mild ailments with an appropriate First Aid (including small cuts, grazes and bruises, minor burns and scalds, and small splinters).
Giving First Aid to an adult victim who is choking, bleeding, shocked, and in need of First Aid.
Understand the significance of preventing cross-infection, using available tools, and the requirement for documenting incidents and actions.
General first aid steps, primary and secondary assessments, CPR, and application of any of the additional 20 or more first aid procedures/protocols. These procedures/protocols are required to deal with medical emergencies like heart attack, stroke, bleeding, spinal injury, burns, snake bites, jellyfish stings, heat, and cold emergencies.
